New 150-seat structure built in tribute
The former captain of Corinthians AFC will be honoured this weekend when the club unveils a new stand in his name.
Louis Thornton died whilst away in Liverpool in September 2016 at the age of 26.
Funds have been raised by friends, family and ex-teammates through a number of different initiatives, including the Parish Walk, End to End, and the release of a special calendar.
A new 150-seat structure has been built to pay tribute to the popular figure, which will be officially opened ahead of Corinthians' match against Ramsey on Saturday (23 December).
