Both charities struggled with funding during lockdown
Two local charities which have struggled to fundraise during lockdown are being supported by a dinner dance this weekend.
Arlo's Adventure and MacMillan Cancer Support will benefit from the event being held at the Palace Hotel on Saturday.
Macmillan is expecting a substantial shortfall this year, which will impact on some services they're able to offer on the Island. Meanwhile, Arlo's Adventure, which is a newer charity, has been set up to support local families who've lost babies.
One of the organisers of Saturday's event, Jackie Ward, says her niece Sarah set up the charity after losing her own baby boy.
Tickets available from the Palace Hotel reception or by calling Susan on 357751.
