Police say they'll continue to support licensees
More than two thirds of arrests over the 'Supermanx' bank holiday weekend were related to alcohol abuse.
A host of events were taking place across the Island during the extended break.
Over the four-day period, 72 per cent of the 49 police arrests were due to drink-related offences.
In a tweet, officers say those guilty should 'reflect on why they shouted abuse and became violent when asked to go home by door-staff and police'.
The Constabulary says it will continue to support licence holders to refuse entry or service to those who aren't drinking responsibly.
