Police are appealing for information after a man was taken to hospital for treatment of a serious injury last night.
Officers were called to a disturbance on Hillside Avenue in Douglas shortly after midnight, where a second man was arrested at the scene.
It's thought the incident was linked to a fight shortly beforehand; this reportedly involved several men on Bucks Road, near to its junction with Tynwald Street.
Vehicles parked nearby may have been damaged.
Enquiries are ongoing, and police want anyone with any information or who may have witnessed either incident to call 631212.
