No suggestion defendant aware of the value
A Blackburn man who tried to import more than £11,000 worth of cocaine to the Island will be sentenced in May.
Twenty-eight year-old Liam McGlinn concealed four ounces of the drug with a street value of between £11,000 and £15,600 in late January.
He had earlier admitted being unlawfully concerned in the importation of the drug and possession with intent to supply.
The court today heard there was no suggestion the defendant was aware of the value of the drug.
McGlinn, who will be sentenced on May 6, has been remanded in custody and a social inquiry report will be prepared.
