Engineers repaired issue whilst vessel was at sea
The Steam Packet has apologised to passengers after a technical issue delayed the Manannan.
The vessel didn’t arrive in Douglas until after 11pm last night (19 April).
It was due to a fault with the starboard inner propulsion system which started shortly after departing Liverpool.
In a statement the Steam Packet said: "The master informed all passengers of the situation and kept everyone updated while our engineers on board carried out the necessary repair.
"The company would like to apologise to passengers for the delayed arrival into Douglas and for any inconvenience this may have caused."
