Andy Burnham backs calls for new inquest
The Mayor of Greater Manchester has added his backing to calls to overturn the Summerland inquest verdict.
Justice for Summerland says Andy Burnham has written to the group's chairperson to give his support to the campaign.
In the letter, Mr Burnham said "I am happy to support your campaign to persuade the Isle of Man Attorney General to grant your request for a new inquest and I wish you every success"
The group, which wrote to the Attorney General earlier this year to formally request a new inquest, has welcomed Mr Burnham's support.
