Universities are taking calls across the British Isles from prospective freshmen - many are entering clearing because they haven't achieved the required grades.
Some students will go straight to their first university choice, Ian Kay is the head at Ballakermeen Sixth Form, he's advising his pupils on what comes next.
One of those students is 19 year-old Ema Kneen who's entered clearing for a place on an ing course at Arts University Bournemouth.
