A Manx breast cancer charity will tonight (Nov 8) launch its campaign to build a new dedicated breast unit at Noble's hospital.
The Manx Breast Cancer Support Group led by East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell, has chosen Douglas railway station for the official launch and glittering fundraising event.
The Island's breast surgeon Millie Bello will cut a pink ribbon to celebrate the start of the landmark appeal, with pink champagne and canapes served in the railway ticket hall.
Charity supporters will then board the steam train for a three course dinner in the dining car, which has been dressed-up for the occasion with the breast cancer theme.
The evening starts at 7pm and the train departs 7.30 sharp.
