Prospect union balloting members in healthcare sector
Manx Care says it's aware of the impact staff shortages and pay conditions are having on the morale of its workers.
It's as trade union Prospect says it's balloting its members in the healthcare sector over pay concerns, and could call a strike in the New Year.
In a statement, Manx Care says it's inherited a number of staff-related issues and is working hard to appoint permanent staff and alleviate pressures on colleagues, with pay and conditions a major issue it's striving to resolve.
It adds that this is a priority, and work to improve this position across the organisation is ongoing.
