Reduction of 3.5% from January 1
Manx Gas has announced it's cutting its tariffs in the new year.
They will be reduced by 3.5% as of January 1, which the utility provider says will see an immediate reduction in 24,500 customers' winter gas bills.
Manx Gas says customers with central heating who on average use 10,000 kilowatts a year stand to save around £22 after VAT on their annual bill.
Managing Director Tony Nicholls says there is the possibility of a further reduction, when another review of tariffs is undertaken in the second quarter of next year.
