Joe Locke appears in 'Rising Star' category
Manx actor Joe Locke has been nominated for a National Television Award.
The 18-year-old has secured a nomination in the 'Rising Star' category for his portrayal of Charlie Spring in the Netflix series Heartstopper.
Joe – who is a Ballakermeen High School student – beat 10,000 teenagers to land the starring role in the drama which he's described as a 'dream come true'.
The National Television Awards will take place at Wembley's OVO Arena on 15 September.
