Peter Eagles is a Member of the Legislative Council
The Lord Bishop says politicians need to have a wider vision than just that of their constituency.
His comments come ahead of the general election being held on Thursday.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Agenda programme, Peter Eagles said members' responsibilities go further than the boundaries in the Island:
