
Couple the first to take advantage of new law
An Isle of Man heterosexual couple became the first to enter a civil partnership in the British Isles - a feat one politician says the Island should be 'proud' of.
Adeline Cosson - who's 24 - and Keiran Hodgson - 22 - celebrated their union at a registry office in Douglas.
It was made law before the end of the last administration as part of legislation to enable LGBT couples to marry.
Opposite sex couples enacting it now have the same rights as married couples.
