Bob Kewley was first Manxman to win championship-point
The first Manxman to win a World Championship point in motor-racing said he did it with help from the Mooinjer Veggey.
Bob Kewley was born in Santon in 1936.
He raced in Europe, across the UK and in the Isle of Man, beginning with the then-new Southern 100, MGP and the TT.
Bob recently told tales of his adventures to Culture Vannin as part of the charity's oral history series.
He says, during his racing days he'd ask for a little help from some little people:
