10 constituencies predicted correctly
The Manx Radio Exit Poll conducted at yesterday's general election was 95.8 per cent accurate.
Over 100 students, led by Paul Craine, spoke to voters after they'd cast their ballots throughout polling day.
The exit poll correctly predicted the election of both successful candidates in the following 10 constituencies:
- Arbory, Castletown and Malew
- Ayre and Michael
- Douglas Central
- Douglas East*
- Douglas North
- Douglas South
- Middle
- Onchan
- Ramsey
- Rushen
It correctly predicted one of the successful candidates in both Garff and Glenfaba and Peel.
*The exit poll couldn't call the second seat in Douglas East. There was a tie between Clare Barber and Michael Josem. Mrs Barber was elected.
