Postive feedback to summer campaign
Television adverts aimed at encouraging tourists to visit the Island were successful, but faced stiff competition.
That's according to Head of Tourism at the Department of Economic Development, Angela Byrne.
She says the ads received lots of positive feedback and lead to a spike in younger visitors to the 'visitisleofman' website.
'Come to your senses, come to the Isle of Man' was the slogan used in the 90 second clips, which featured on ITV.
Ms Byrne says it's difficult to analyse what impact they had, but early signs were encouraging:

Calls for 'transitional protections' for migrants on five-year immigration path
'No decisions have been made' over future of Ballabeg Methodist Church
Manxman's departure to Heysham delayed
'Majestic' 250-year-old elm tree to be felled
