Chris Garrett's remains have been escorted home to Peel
A Peel man who spent several years helping to clear unexploded bombs and devices in Ukraine has made his final journey home today.
Christopher Garrett, an armed forces veteran, had been working with the humanitarian charity Prevail Together, of which he was chairman, when he was killed in the war-torn country earlier this month.
His colleagues described his death as 'a deep loss' to them all.

Chris' remains arrived back into Ronaldsway Airport on the LoganAir flight from Heathrow at 3:24pm.
He was greeted by a gathered crowd of members of the Manx, Ukranian and the Island's military veteran communities.
Chris' childhood friend, Matt Lambah led the Moddey Dhoo Motorcycle Club escort back to Peel.
