Committee to hear evidence
The issue of mental illness, its scale and severity in the Island will be explored today.
Tynwald's Social Affairs Policy Review Committee will sit from 10.30am in the Legislative Council chamber in Douglas.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts, Director of Mental Health Angela Murray, and representatives from homeless charities and health bodies are among those to give evidence.
The Committee is also assessing what health and care resources are in place to respond locally and the impact it can have on other Island public services.
You can listen to the sitting live online via tynwald.org.im.
