Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne expects to approve prom plans
Manx Electric Railway trams could run along the entire length of Douglas prom if new plans go ahead.
Speaking in the Keys this morning Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne said he expected to approve a revised plan for the whole of the Prom project.
That's taking account of the latest plans for shared space and a single track for the trams.
He told questioner Onchan MHK David Quirk that Douglas Borough Council supported the proposed promenade design and relocation of the tracks.
But he said these would be for more than just horse trams.
