Next two high tides expected to impact coastal areas

A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping has been issued ahead of today's high tides.

Forecasters say some waves will affect the Island's coastal routes over the next couple tides, particularly along the Island's east coast.

The areas most at risk are Shore Road in Rushen, the northern end of Douglas promenade, Castletown promenade and Ramsey and Laxey.

The warning will remain in force until 2am.
