Robertshaw and Thomas clashed at first sitting
A lone MHK on the back benches has "a different vision" of what new look Tynwald should look like - according to an Ayre and Michael member.
Tim Baker voiced concerns about how Douglas East MHK Chris Robertshaw handled the first Tynwald session last week (18 October).
Mr Robertshaw criticised the Policy and Reform Minister - saying his appetite for modernising government has been subdued.
Chris Thomas replied by saying Mr Robertshaw doesn't grasp the difference between the prioritisation of governmental policy, and parliamentary reform - which goes out for consultation in Spring next year.
Hoping it's not going to be a common feature in future sessions, Mr Baker says personal attacks like that aren't constructive to debate.
