Watterson's bid to have Pink Book shared early shot down
An MHK has hit out at the Island's Budget process labelling the current system a 'fiscal dictatorship'.
In Tynwald this week members debated a motion looking at reform and agreed to establish a Select Committee which looks at the role of the legislature in the financial planning process.

Rushen's Juan Watterson was hoping to have the Pink Book published weeks ahead of the February sitting but his amendment to the motion being debated was shot down.
He gave his reaction to Manx Radio:
The Select Committee on the Role of the Legislature in the Budget process has been formed of five members; Treasury Minister Alex Allinson, Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford, Dawn Kinnish MLC, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas and Mr Watterson.
