DHSC Minister to be quizzed about Manx Care's plans
Permission has been granted for an MHK to ask an urgent question about cuts to the Island’s health services.
Joney Faragher, who represents Douglas East, will raise her concerns in the House of Keys on Tuesday (28 January).
She wants to know whether the Department of Health and Social Care is planning to reduce the number of elective surgeries being carried out by Manx Care.
Minister Claire Christian will also be asked if cuts to any other services are being proposed or planned.
Earlier this week strike action by Island doctors was avoided after a new pay deal was offered.
