Edge seeks answers on legislation delay
The chief minister will be asked to make a statement about assisted dying today (21 April).
Onchan MHK Julie Edge has been given permission to quiz Alfred Cannan about when he found out there was an issue with the Isle of Man’s legislation.
She wants to know when he was informed by the Lord Chancellor that the Ministry of Justice was unable to recommend the Assisted Dying Bill 2023 for Royal Assent.
