Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse is set to call on the Department of Education, Sport and Culture to tackle school attendance rates and behaviour.
Jason Moorhouse believes government should work with education leaders, parents, teachers and pupils to develop new strategies.
If approved, a report would be delivered to Tynwald by December with a series of recommendations to be implemented from summer 2026.
Mr Moorhouse says he's putting the motion forward out of 'frustration':
