Aim to bring next version of plan to Tynwald by spring 2020
The minister in charge of planning policy says he's "heartened" by the focus on the Area Plan for the East.
It's as a public inquiry is underway, hearing from developers, politicians and concerned citizens.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says he hopes to bring the next version of the plan to Tynwald by April next year, at the earliest.
He says the scrutiny is welcomed:
