
The social care minister says he's encouraged by the new pre-school system in the Isle of Man.
His department is due to add £500,000 to the budget for its credit system in the coming financial year, because of its reported success.
There were protests by and petitions from Island residents in the lead-up to the ending of state-run nursery education in September 2012.
But Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw says the Department of Education's move has been vindicated by a recent study:
