But Malarkey won't attend public meeting
Ahead of a requisition meeting in Ramsey this evening, the Home Affairs minister is in the town.
Bill Malarkey and a department official have been looking around the Courthouse building.
It was last week put up for sale by the department, while Ramsey Commissioners this week voted to make an offer for the facility.
Ratepayers in the town, who want the building to remain in public ownership, have called the meeting which is being held in the Ramsey Grammar School West Building at 7pm.
Mr Malarkey has declined to attend the gathering.
