MGP club's event to follow Remembrance Sunday silence
Today (12 November) the Manx Grand Prix Supporters club will hold an event in Laxey to remember friends and loved ones.
Following the Remembrance Sunday silence, at 11am, motorcyclists are invited to take part in a 'minute's noise' at 12pm at Laxey Beach Café.
The club says it's to commemorate those who have, in their words, 'passed under the chequered flag in the past year'.
Organiser, and Mountain Course travelling marshal, Jim Hunter told Manx Radio it's another symbol of the camaraderie of the motorcycling community:
Gas supplier provides reassurance amid ongoing global market volatility
Farmers in race against time after freight backlog in Heysham
Further changes to sailing schedule due to tidal restrictions
Census 'still one of the most valuable statistical tools' for government
'Immigration is needed' for economic growth on Island
