
There'll be no alternative to the Steam Packet ferry service this TT fortnight.
It's after would-be competitor, Ellan Vannin Line, says it's been denied permission to use the linkspan - something which it says is vital to compete with the established operator.
Yesterday Ellan Vannin had said delays from the Department of Infrastructure had made launching the service in time for the busiest fortnight of the year impossible.
The Department has denied causing any delays in the negotiations.
