DEFA Minister asked to make a statement in Tynwald
A Tynwald member wants to know what's being done to ensure owners of registered buildings receive adequate support.
Marlene Maska MLC is asking Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot to make a statement at this month's sitting.
She's keen to ensure DEFA is providing proper protection of registered buildings, and specialist advice is offered to owners.
Mrs Maska, who was previously the government's buildings conservation officer, has been contacted by owners of such buildings:
