DEFA confirms it's investigated the Patrick Farm on multiple occasions
There have been 16 water pollution incidents investigated in seven years at a farm owned by David Anderson MLC.
The figure has been revealed following a Freedom of Information request.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says its records show it has looked into 16 separate instances of farm waste entering the Barnel Stream from Ballamoar Farm in Patrick since 2010.
DEFA says one prosecution has been brought successfully in that time, in June 2013, which related to an incident in October 2012.
The department says it would not reveal the number of cautions issued, though, as that amounted to personal data.
