The Steam Packet Company says cancellations of ferry services to and from Heysham tonight will mean more disruption tomorrow.
The company says after it was forced to cancel tonight’s sailing to Lancashire and tomorrow morning’s return trip, services to the UK will be back to normal tomorrow.
However, Saturday’s Dublin sailing – due to set off at 7.30pm and return at 1am on Sunday – has had to be cancelled.
The company says the vessel will sail to and from Heysham to bring in a delivery of essential freight supplies, including parcels and food.
Passengers on the Dublin sailing will be transferred to the Heysham and given onward connections.
