DOI draft in contractor to repair defects
A 30 mile per hour speed limit will be in place along Richmond Hill from next week, as further work is carried out on the road's surface.
The temporary limit will come into force on Monday 7 January until the end of March.
Highway contractor Colas, who undertook maintenance of the section of the New Castletown Road in August, is repairing the defects on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure.
Last month, it was reported by the Island's police that parts of the new surface dressing had come loose.
