DoI extended timeframe due to limited resource
Further work has begun in the centre of Port Erin - months after the conclusion of a lengthy regeneration project.
Access to the footpath outside the Railway Station, as well as nearby parking spaces, will be restricted for a period of seven weeks.
The road will remain open to traffic, however.
Local traders expressed frustration at the five months it took to finish a nearby scheme on Station Road.
The Department of Infrastructure says it recognises the inconvenience caused so far, but insists 'limited resources' have led to the extended time-frame:
