Public Health discusses impact of lack of sunshine
Most people in the Isle of Man are thought to be deficient in Vitamin D.
The Interim Director of Public Health, Professor Hugo van Woerden, says this is mainly due to the Island's position in the northern hemisphere.
The problem is caused by a lack of sunlight, particularly during the winter months.
He says everyone should consider increasing their intake either through food or supplements:
