Police appeal to anyone in the area at the time
A motorcyclist from Port Erin has died following a crash earlier today (20 April).
Police say it happened on the Kirk Michael to Peel Coast Road.
The man, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Noble's Hospital where they are receiving treatment for the injuries they sustained.
Inspector Neil Craig said: "We have spoken to a number of people who were at the scene but we would like to appeal to anyone, who was in the area around 1pm this afternoon - who we may not yet have spoken to - to contact us at Police Headquarters on 631212.
"The section of road between the Switchback and the roundabout at Reayrt Aalin still remains closed whilst investigations continue."
