Route due to be reassessed this morning
The Mountain Road remains closed this morning (Saturday 7 February).
It is due to be reassessed by Highway Services after snow and ice shut the route yesterday.
The closure order between the Creg Ny Baa and Ramsey Hairpin is currently expected to lift by 10am.
We'll bring you the latest update as soon as we have it.
UPDATE: 9:40AM - The road has reopened, but there is a warning in place for fog on the route.
