Police will assess road surface at 9am
Police have taken the decision to close the Mountain Road this morning due to more snowfall.
The Creg-ny-Baa to Lheaney Road in Ramsey has been closed off to traffic due to the deteriorating conditions.
Motorists are being advised to drive with care in the cold weather.
Officers will reassess the state of the Mountain Road and make a decision on whether or not to re-open the route at 9am on Saturday (30 December) morning.
