Plans will be available for public view
The chairman of Manx Utilities hopes work on the new Peel Sewage Treatment Works will get underway next year.
The plans for the facility are going on display in the west of the Island this week, with the first taking place at the Knockaloe Visitor Centre Hall between 11am and 7pm today [Mon Dec 10].
The project will still need to go through the planning process before construction can get underway.
Dr Alex Allinson MHK hopes the site will be operational within 12 to 18 months.
The plans will also be available for the public to view at the Peel Sailors Shelter on Thursday between 11am and 7pm.
