Canon Andrew Brown, whose appointment was announced earlier this year, is a former Canon Theologian at Derby Cathedral.
His installation takes place at the Cathedral Church of St German in Peel
At the same time, the Very Reverend Nigel Godfrey will be installed as Dean of the Cathedral. Previously the Lord Bishop has always taken the role.
Mr Colin Finney will also be installed as a Lay Canon of the Cathedral.
