Commentary gig for road racing legend
A road racing superstar has made his debut in the TT commentary box, describing Mountain Course action to a global audience.
Twenty-three times TT winner John McGuinness swapped his helmet and leathers for a microphone, as guest commentator for the IM Gold Manx Grand Prix Newcomers race (1 September) on Vauxhall Radio TT, as legions of fans followed the action on air and online.
He stood in for Radio TT's longtime Ramsey Hairpin commentator Roy Moore, whose son Peter was involved in the race.
