Malcolm Couch ideal fit for role
Health Minister Howard Quayle says the appointment of Dr Malcolm Couch as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Department of Health and Social Care isn't such a surprising choice.
Currently Chief Financial Officer of the Treasury, he'll be taking over from Mark Charters on Monday (June 29).
Mr Charters resigned earlier this month, citing personal reasons.
Mr Quayle says Dr Couch is an ideal fit for the role:
Planning application for onshore wind farm still being developed
Motorcyclist suffered fatal chest injuries in crash
Trial for trio accused of producing Class A drugs to Island
Too early for 'direct action' over cost-of-living concerns says chief minister
