Online fraud reports rose by 12% last year
The Isle of Man Constabulary's newly-appointed Cyber Inspector says he himself has been a victim of online crime before.
Gavin Callow gave a personal example to display why people should be careful with their information on the Internet:

Police's new Cyber Crime Strategy says 91% of the population have received a fraudulent email, and more than one in five have had an online account compromised.
The number of reports of online fraud also rose by 12% last year.
