Part of modernisation process for Fire and Rescue Service
The fire safety department within the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service has re-branded as part of an ongoing modernisation process.
It will now be known as the Fire Prevention and Protection Department and brings the Island broadly in line with the model operated in the UK.
It's part of a four-year strategy which has involved a move towards a multi-agency approach with a focus on fire prevention.
