A long-lost statue which was once on display in the rose gardens at Clifton Terrace, Douglas is to see the light of day again.
The figure was removed after being vandalised some years ago and has been in storage ever since.
It's now hoped it can be renovated and given a prominent position in the newly refurbished arcade at the Villa Marina.
Subject to the agreement of the Department of Tourism and Leisure, the statue will be on display soon, although chairman of the Borough Council's Leisure Services Committee Stephen Pitts says no one knows exactly what it's meant to be:
