Work has been continuing over the Easter break, to assist the smooth introduction of the new government structure.
Everything officially changed on April 1, but the long weekend effectively delayed the start of the new era.
In the biggest overhaul since the ministerial system came in 24 years ago, seven new departments have been created, with only the Treasury and Home Affairs staying the same.
The revised structure is spearheaded by Allan Bell's Department of Economic Development, which has the task of generating new revenue streams, as the government seeks to manage the reduction in VAT income.
Chief Minister Tony Brown is confident everything will gel:

Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
