Parking prohibited around Switzerland Road junction
A new parking suspension will be in force on Douglas Promenade from today (Monday).
The initial area will be either side of Switzerland Road, with access being maintained to the road, although only left turns will be permitted when exiting Switzerland Road onto the prom.
Over the next few months, a rolling programme of duct laying and tramline installation is taking place around Switzerland Road and Marathon Terrace.
Drivers are also being asked to be aware of workers in the highway and the use of cones and directional arrows.
