DHSC already speaking to third-party operators
A replacement for the closed private wing at Noble's Hospital is on track to be in service by June next year.
Health Minister David Ashford revealed his department has already received expressions of interest from third parties interesting in running the facility.
The private patients unit has been shut since the start of the year to allow the DHSC to consider more modern options for the service.
Speaking on the Mannin Line, the Minister says the previous provision didn't meet the required standard:
